Potential conference implications due to the Omicron variant
The GEOINNO2022 Organising Commitee acknowledge that the new SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant adds a lot of uncertainty, both regarding potential restrictions in Milan and Italy, but also for travelling participants from around the world. The conference might therefore be postponed to a later point in time. The committee has decided that the conference will not be held in a digital or a hybrid format, and that it will take place physically in Milan if or when allowed.
