REGISTRATION

The 6th Geography of Innovation Conference (GEOINNO2022) takes place in Milan, Italy, on 4th – 6th July 2022. Any interested scholars, students and stakeholders are welcome to attend this conference, whether or not they have a paper accepted for presentation.

GEOINNO2022 will be held in person only, and will only take place if it is possible to adhere to all standing COVID-19 health regulations. In the worst case scenario, the 6th Geography of Innovation Conference will be postponed.

The registration will open in March/April 2022.

An acceptance/rejection email has been sent to those who have submitted a paper. Please note that the acceptance/rejection notification will be sent by email only to the submitting author. Please also find all accepted papers listed here.

Each conference participant will only be allowed to present one paper. Co-authored papers may be presented by any of the participating co-authors.

For those who are going to present at the conference, please remember to add the submission ID of your accepted paper in the designated text field when registering. This will make it easier for the conference administrators to link the paper to the right registrant. This ID can be found on this page.

COVID-19 IMPLICATIONS

Potential conference implications due to the Omicron variant

The GEOINNO2022 Organising Commitee acknowledge that the new SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant adds a lot of uncertainty, both regarding potential restrictions in Milan and Italy, but also for travelling participants from around the world. The conference might therefore be postponed to a later point in time. The committee has decided that the conference will not be held in a digital or a hybrid format, and that it will take place physically in Milan if or when allowed.
